Course Description:
As a student in this course, you will learn to use HTML tags to create Web pages and using styles to format pages. CSS (Cascading Style Sheets)
will apply formatting across multiple pages. Graphics and using links will be covered and you will be required to demonstrate master of these skills.
Finally, HTML tags will cover creating tables, forms, and frames.

Software: Microsoft Windows XP or higher and an Internet browser be used,
and a Text Editor software. (Free Notespad ++)

- Assignments: End of chapter activities and online activities will be assigned periodically to reinforce material in the text.
These assignments may require the application of various software packages. Listed in Classroom Sign-off sheet,
online at s-sherman.com, and Desire2Learn.
- Projects: Occasional unannounced or announced will be given to help ensure students stay up with assigned material
and can show demonstrated skills.
- Exams: Nine exams will be given. The exams will be closed book/notes and will test assigned readings and material
discussed in class. The final exam will not be comprehensive in nature. However, the instructor reserves the right to
retest on material that was not appropriately comprehended.
Grading: The grading scale follows the student handbook:
